Immobiliare Mantegazza is a family passion that for more than 60 years has been valuing its clients by paying specific attention to their needs.
Mantegazza Real Estate deals with property management for family-owned and third-party properties, buying and selling, property valuations, organisation and coordination of all property management services and planning, and, finally, optimisation of maintenance and energy costs.
The Mantegazza family settled in Ticino back in 1784. The family is known as a global leader in the tourism industry, a sector in which it has become a major international player, following the founding of the ‘Globus’ travel agency by the founder Antonio Mantegazza in 1928.
Antonio Mantegazza’s son, Geo Mantegazza, undertook his university studies, graduating in 1952 with a degree in civil engineering from the prestigious ETH Zurich. Subsequently, in 1954 he founded the engineering studio Mantegazza & Cattaneo, which established itself in Ticino in the field of construction. In this guise, the company became the promoter and implementer of numerous public and private building initiatives in the City of Lugano.
In May 2012, Immobiliare Mantegazza gave itself a new company name, becoming ‘Immobiliare Mantegazza SA’, now affiliated to SVIT – Società svizzera dell’economia immobiliare –. Starting from 1. July 2012, the new company took over in its entirety, what had been managed by the previous administration, nominating Ms Vicky Mantegazza as President.
